Strange, but True Facts about Men and Women

For this weeks blog, I thought I would take a break from all the seriousness of relationships, and just talk about some things that I thought would be interesting to know. Here are some "Strange but True" facts about men and women. Most of these I think I could say I agree with for the most part. How about you?

• couples usually wait 6 to 8 weeks before entering an exclusive relationship.
• 40% of women would consider dumping her boyfriend if her friends didn't like him.
• it take a woman 1 hour to decide if she wants to date a man again, where man decides in 15 minutes.
• on average, women usually say around 7,000 words per day, and men say about 2,000 words.
• what's known as the French kiss in the English world, is known as the English kiss in France.
• studies indicate that a man who kisses his wife before work, usually has a higher income.
• the average man sees 5 women a day that he would like to sleep with.
• the most common times for breakups are around 3-5 months.
• one in three teenagers have experienced violence in a dating relationship.
• in online dating, women fear meeting a serial killer, and men fear meeting someone fat.
• research shows that men can tell if they're in love after 4 dates. For women, its 14 dates.
• 29% of Americans have had sex on the first date.

I thought some of these were pretty true. Although, I do think that the percent for Americans having sex on the first date is probably higher than 29%....
